VET to VET – Capacity building in Albania

EfVET attended the online Kick-off meeting or the new Vet to Vet Capacity building in ALBANIA! This project is led by Apro Formazione and gathers two Albanian VET centres, KAMZA and HOTELERI, Albanian Skills – National Association for Skills Competitions, EfVET, SEPR and Build Green Group NGO.
V2V-AL project will develop customised and effective internationalisation strategies and modernise the offer of vocational institutions through a capacity building process focused on twinning between Albanian and Programme VET providers.
It aims at structuring and developing customised and effective internationalisation strategies and modernising VET systems of participating institutions, focusing on three key areas:
- International mobility
- Dual system
- Digitalisation
This will be achieved through a participatory bottom-up approach from school to school, with the involvement of key actors and networks at European and country level. V2V_AL project will reinforce VET system in Albania both from the perspective of country not associated to the Programme fully engaged in the access process, and from the perspective of addressing local, regional and national strategies.
The project will in fact address the issue of reinforcing the links between Albanian VET system and its labour market needs and opportunities by strengthening dual system and WBL. with the involvement in this project the two Albanian VET providers can become part of a process already started in the framework of previous piloting mobility schemes projects involving project partners, aiming at fostering cooperation between Western Balkans and Programme VET providers engaged in capacity building, thus creating effective networks across regions and within WB region, now and in the future.
