Webinar “Business in the Time of Corona and What after?” organised by IUS Life Lifelong Learning Center
IUS Life Lifelong Learning Center (IUS Life) organised a free of charge webinar with virtual presence of participants from Zagreb, Zadar, Banja Luka, Labin, and other cities in the region. The webinar “Business in the Time of Corona and What after?” – with the guest Ms Ivana Radić from Zagreb, took place on May 5th, 2020.
During the discussion the new situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic was one of the topic, together with the negative effects on the economy and especially on small and medium enterprises, in private ownership.
The pandemic brought unexpected circumstances that became “new normal” and imposed new adjustments, a new way of doing business, setting other priorities, working from home, online schooling, the transition to the production of new products, etc.
Establishing crisis teams, maintaining contacts with clients, effective communication, creating new products and services, assessing business risks, are some of the tips we could hear from lecturer Ivana Radić.
Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the IUS Lifelong Learning Center has adapted online educational platforms and offered a series of seminars and workshops adopting the hashtags #stayhome #staysafe #onlineeducation.
So far, IUS Life organised seminars “Process calibration – basics”, “Thermography – Seeing the Invisible”, “Gestalt – Psychotherapy workshop, SAP ERP course. Also, our English Language School (ELS) adapted the teaching process to online education and our students did not miss planned classes.
