Marlies Verkuijlen is the Dutch National Coordinator for EfVET and Chair of the Board of MBO Amersfoort, one of the Netherlands’ leading vocational education and training providers. With a career spanning education, public governance, consultancy, and public service, she brings extensive leadership experience to the VET sector.
She previously served as Chair of the Board of Onderwijsgroep Amstelland and as Police Commissioner. Her background also includes roles as an education director, consultant, and child psychologist. Marlies holds a Master’s degree in Public Governance and a Master’s degree in Pedagogy, and she is fluent in Dutch, English, French, and German.
