Emilio Dogliani, from Italy, is an EU affairs and advocacy professional with a long experience in the areas of Culture, Education, Youth and Social affairs. He is passionate about fostering dialogue between the European Union and faith-based and civil society actors through projects and purposeful initiatives, aiming to promote human-centred development and integral education and training policies.
His previous experience in the European Commission and the Commission of the Bishops’ Conferences of the European Union (COMECE) allowed him to hone his skills in institutional relations, project management and public speaking, presenting at conferences organized by the European Institutions and civil society. He has contributed to EU policymaking in various other formats on intergenerational dialogue and fairness, inclusive and sustainable vocational education and training, religious education, skills and cultural heritage.
Emilio is an alumnus of the University of Groningen (Netherlands), where he obtained his BA in European Languages and Cultures, and the Universities of Göttingen (Germany) and Strasbourg (France), where he pursued his Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree Euroculture. He is fluent is his native Italian, English, German, French, with working knowledge of Spanish and Dutch.
